About

My wife and I learned early on that we weren’t in store for the average pregnancy. We’d have doctor visits every week or two. To protect both mom and baby, we’d have to deliver between weeks 32 and 34. There would be an entire team of doctors and the support of one of the best hospitals in the country. Still, there would be risks. At each visit, we were given warning signs and specific instructions. Thankfully, when one presented itself during week 27, we followed the doctor’s orders.

I hastily set up this blog so that I could focus on our family and Kinley’s care, rather than spending hours each day individually updating all of our concerned friends and family.

I’ll do what I can to answer frequent questions for all to read.
